Diversity in YA Fiction

Writer Unboxed has a great post up today about writing about cultures other than your own from Cindy Pon and Shveta Thakrar, who host the Diversity in YA Fiction website and book tour. Love the idea for taking their show on the road! Maybe we should do a White Readers Meet Black Authors road show.... Hmmmm.

    I just had to correct one thing: Much as I'd love to take credit for the Diversity in YA Tour, that's actually the brainchild of Cindy and her good friend Malinda Lo, author of Ash. :)

    Great article! For those looking for an African-American Book Publisher, I would check out Lee and Low books. I recommend them to all my friends.
