Rules: Post on your blog, send a Tweet or write on your Facebook page the title of the most recent book you read by a black author, and include a link to this blog post. Let me know in the comments you've done it (with a link to your blog). I'll randomly pick 25 lucky winners to receive a free I HEART BLACK AUTHORS button. Contest runs May 12-June 9. Winners will be announced June 16.
Heather Miller at the blog Experience Reading recently sent me this photo of herself with the book, Black Baby, White Hands by Jaiya John. She's putting her money where her mouth is. Are you?

Me, me, me!
In the past few weeks I've seen more White readers coming in for books by Black authors for book club. And we sold out of Sag Harbor. There seems to be a lot of really good fiction coming out by Black authors this year. I have my fingers crossed that this will continue.
I am loving Sag Harbor. I tweeted this. What a great idea!!!

Love that button!
Also I read that Jaya Johns book a while ago and it had a big impact on me. Does Heather review it? I couldn't find it at her blog. I think your link to that is broken, BTW.
Andromeda, Thanks. I fixed the link.
I tweeted, too. That word cracks me up.
I WANT A BUTTON! And I want one so badly that I wrote that in all caps. Can you randomly choose me?
I am always late to the ball! I'll get right on this. I love the button!
